It is so important to regularly service your garden machinery after a hard summer maintaining your lovely lawns and gardens. It not only increases the lifespan of your equipment, it ensures that your machinery will be ready to go to work come Spring when your lawns are ready for that first cut or your hedges want trimming and reshaping.

Here at Garlick GM we make it easy for you, we offer a ‘Collection & Delivery’ service to our surrounding areas, in which your machines are fully insured in transit as well as when they arrive here at our workshop where we undertake all of our service work.

With many years of combined service in this industry we can assure you we only have qualified engineers working on your machinery, ensuring the best quality service is always available to our customers.

“What do we do on a service..?”
In brief we fully clean your machinery, removing any debris, old rotting grass and dirt from your machine. This not only prevents corrosion, giving your equipment a longer life, it also means they come back looking amazing and ready for the new season. We replace your service parts, including air filter, spark plug, recoil ropes and engine oil and inspect the rest of the machinery for any other damaged components which may have failed throughout the course of the last cutting season, but don’t worry, if we do find something unexpected we will always communicate with our customer to advise on the cost, as nobody likes an unexpected bill! We also sharpen and balance your cutting blade, and fully drain your fuel tank, removing any debris and old fuel, as well as stripping and cleaning your carburettor which is so important as the quality of fuel from the petrol station continues to get worse! We then fully test your machine after refilling with Aspen Fuel which is an alkalyte fuel, which will not deteriorate for up to 5 years which means in spring when you require your machine to work, it will do!
